Now, in their 22nd year as recording artists, The Kennedys are busier than ever, continually touring the US and UK. They're currently working on a new album, and getting ready to release Pete's autobiography. Check back for further info.

The Kennedys' album, "Closer Than You Know" was released in the U.S. on August 21, and in the U.K. on October 15, 2012. We've been touring all over, with stops in Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Baltimore, and all up and down the East Coast of the US, and an extensive UK and Ireland tour in the Spring of 2013. The UK tour was a great success, and we've been asked back to play a festival there in Sept 2013, and a return tour in June 2014. Check back for dates and details.

In 2012, The Kennedys were busy writing, recording, producing and touring with long-time friend, mentor and collaborator, Nanci Griffith, and are continuing to tour with her in 2013, both as her support act and as her bandmates on her tour in support of her "Inersection" album of 2012.
